The creative do-it-yourselfers over at Crafty Nest have posted a detailed DIY tutorial on how to create these sweet bamboo orb pendant lights, inspired by this specific (not-so-affordable) iron chandelier. To get the spherical criss-cross effect, they’ve used bamboo strips from a simple roman shade from the Home Depot, held together with wood glue. I love the end result; modern yet still organic, not to mention it looks profesh, and expensive. I’m way impressed.
